Baoyu Visual Content

Generate visual content with consistent type × style × palette systems. All three sub-domains share the same core philosophy: pick a layout type, pick a visual style, lock in a palette, and produce output that looks like it belongs together.

This is the methodology that originally spanned three narrow skills (baoyu-article-illustrator, baoyu-comic, baoyu-infographic), now unified here. The layout/style/palette vocabularies below are starting points — interpret and extend them per project rather than treating them as a fixed catalog.

1. Article Illustrations

Create illustrations for blog posts, articles, and written content.

  • Type × Style × Palette: pick a composition type (hero, split, grid, etc.), a visual style (flat, isometric, sketch, etc.), and a color palette
  • Consistency: all illustrations in a series share the same type/style/palette for visual cohesion

2. Knowledge Comics

Create educational, biographical, or tutorial comics.

  • Layout types: strip, manga page, webtoon scroll, grid, splash, etc.
  • Tone/preset system: educational, humorous, dramatic, biographical
  • Art style mappings: line art, cel-shaded, watercolor, pixel, retro

3. Infographics

Create data visualizations and information graphics.

  • Layout types: timeline, flowchart, comparison, process, hierarchy, statistical, map, etc.
  • Style types: corporate, playful, minimal, dark, gradient, hand-drawn, etc.
  • Type × Style matrix: every layout works with every style

Workflow (all three sub-domains)

  1. Identify the content domain (illustration, comic, or infographic)
  2. Select the layout type appropriate to the content
  3. Choose a visual style consistent with the brand/audience
  4. Lock in a color palette (define the exact hex values up front and reuse them)
  5. Generate with the type × style × palette combination
  6. Validate visual consistency across the project

Note on reference banks

The original standalone skills shipped detailed enumerated banks (layouts/, styles/, palettes/, presets/, prompts/). Those catalog files are no longer bundled with this skill — apply the type × style × palette methodology above and generate era/brand-appropriate values per project. If you need a fixed catalog for repeat use, build one in references/ for this skill.
